Chelsea Cafe: Simple, Tasty Cafe Food at Home

Chelsea Cafe Simple, Tasty Cafe Food at Home, ISBN 9781869417437 and books by Jo Seagar on sale at thebookshelf.co.nz

The fourth addition to the Chelsea recipe book range, this book is the cool big sister to LIP SMACKIN. The book targets more experienced cooks who love to entertain and eat well, and want to create simple, easy–to–make cafe meals at home. More specifically they are in the 18–40 year age group and the middle–income bracket. As in previous Chelsea books, the recipes are easy to cook and fail–safe, covering a range of meals from a small sweet morsel with your coffee, through to a full dining feast. Recipes include sweet, savoury, vegetarian and gluten–free to fit a variety of diets and tastes. Sections include:

  • Kick–start your day –breakfast–
  • Summer fresh flavours –light lunches–
  • Sweet sensations and these take the cake! –cakes, biscuits, muffins, slices–
  • Hot off the grill –ribs, lamb shanks, roasted chicken, vegetarian pizza–
  • The perfect finishing touch –desserts–
  • Liquid essentials –alcoholic and non–alcoholic drinks–
