Cooking with Foods that Fight Cancer

Cooking with Foods that Fight Cancer, ISBN 9781741754346 and books by Richard Beliveau, Denis Gingras on sale at thebookshelf.co.nz

From the bestselling authors of Foods That Fight Cancer comes the companion cookbook. Foods That Fight Cancer kick–started a revolution in our understanding of the cancer–fighting properties of food. Now we know the value of green tea, dark chocolate and red wine, how can we incorporate these foods into our daily diet in practical and creative ways? Authors Richard Beliveau and Denis Gingras have teamed up with professional chefs to do just that and this is the result.

Featuring 160 specially created, mouth–watering recipes, this gorgeous full–colour cookbook covers quick, one–pot family meals to more impressive dishes ideal for entertaining, including Moroccan Beef and Chickpea Veloute, Leek and Goat Cheese Lasagne, Red Tuna Carpaccio and Raspberry Clafoutis. Theres also a detailed round–up of all the featured foods (including mushrooms, garlic, berries, tomatoes and citrus) and a thoroughly accessible update on the latest research developments in the field.

An essential companion to its bestselling predecessor, Cooking with Foods that Fight Cancer combines all the benefits of good nutrition with the sheer pleasure of good eating.
