About the AuthorFascinated by aromas and flavours from an early age, Toni Paterson has had a lifelong passion for wine and food. Initially trained as a scientist, Toni made the change to winemaking after studying for a Masters in Oenology. Toni is the youngest of only fourteen Australian Masters of Wine (MW) and the only female MW based in Australia. In November 2003, she was awarded the Madame Lily Bollinger medal for outstanding tasting ability. Toni is now based in Sydney where she works as a consultant, writer and mother of two.
